Alpha Naphthyl Acetic Acid (NAA) 4.5% SL is a common plant growth regulator (PGR) formulation, an aqueous solution containing 4.5% active NAA, used to boost flowering, prevent fruit/flower drop (shedding), enlarge fruit size, and improve yield in crops like mango, grapes, tomato, pineapple, and cotton. It works by mimicking natural auxins, promoting cell division/elongation and inhibiting ethylene, leading to better fruit setting and retention.
