Tebuconazole 10% + Sulphur 65% WG is a powerful, dual-action fungicide used extensively in agriculture to manage fungal diseases and certain mites. It combines a systemic triazole (Tebuconazole) with a contact inorganic fungicide (Sulphur).

How It Works

• Systemic Action (Tebuconazole): It is absorbed by the plant and moves upward (acropetally). It inhibits the synthesis of ergosterol, which is essential for fungal cell wall formation.

• Contact & Vapor Action (Sulphur): It stays on the plant surface to kill spores upon contact. Its vapor action helps reach hidden parts of the plant and provides acaricidal benefits (controls mites).

Key Applications & Dosage

The standard recommendation for most field crops is 500g per acre, mixed with approximately 200 liters of water.

• Triple Action: It acts as a preventive (stops infection), curative (kills existing fungus), and eradicative (clears spores) treatment.

Safety & Usage Tips

• Wait Period: Observe a "Waiting Period" (PHI) between the last spray and harvest. For Chilli, this is typically 5 days, while for Soybean it can be up to 26 days.

• Mixing: Always make a "slurry" first by mixing the WG (Water Dispersible Granules) with a small amount of water before adding it to the full tank.

• Weather: Avoid spraying during peak afternoon heat or high winds to prevent leaf burn and spray drift. Early morning or late evening is best.
