About Neem Oil 3000 PPM

Neem Oil with a concentration of 3000 PPM (Parts Per Million) refers to the amount of Azadirachtin, the active insecticidal ingredient, present in the solution. At this level (equivalent to 0.3% EC), it is considered a high-potency organic pesticide suitable for both preventative care and active pest infestations.

Recommended Dosage & Dilution

For most agricultural and gardening applications, 3000 PPM neem oil should be diluted with water before use.

  • Foliar Spray: Mix 25 ml of neem oil per 1 liter of water.

  • Large Scale: Use approximately 750 ml to 1.25 liters per acre, depending on the crop and infestation level.

  • Application Tip: If your neem oil is not "pre-emulsified," you must add a few drops of liquid dish soap or a dedicated emulsifier to help the oil mix with the water.

Key Benefits

  • Broad-Spectrum Control: Effective against over 200 species of pests, including aphids, thrips, whiteflies, mites, mealybugs, and caterpillars.

  • Multi-Action Defense: It works as an antifeedant (pests stop eating), a growth regulator (larvae fail to mature), and a repellent.

  • Fungicidal Properties: Helps prevent and treat diseases like powdery mildew, rust, and black spot.

  • Eco-Friendly: Non-toxic to mammals, birds, and beneficial insects like bees and ladybugs when applied correctly (avoid spraying during active pollination).

Important Usage Guidelines

Rule Recommendation
Timing Apply in the early morning or late evening. Avoid mid-day sun to prevent leaf burn (phytotoxicity).
Coverage Spray both the tops and bottoms of leaves, as many pests hide underneath.
Frequency For active pests, spray every 7 days. For prevention, once every 14 days is sufficient.
Freshness Only mix what you plan to use immediately. Diluted neem oil loses its potency after about 24 hours.
Compatibility Do not mix with sulfur or copper-based fungicides, as this can cause a chemical reaction that damages plant
