Key Applications and Pests

This insecticide is effective against a wide range of pests in various crops:

• Target Crops: Cotton, Rice (Paddy), Tomato, Brinjal, Chilli, Onion, Pigeon Pea, and Groundnut.

• Target Pests: Bollworms, Jassids, Thrips, Stem Borers, Leaf Folders, Fruit Borers, Gall Midges, and Mites.

• Mode of Action: It acts as a contact and stomach poison. It disrupts the nervous system of insects by affecting sodium channels, leading to paralysis and eventual death.

Recommended Dosage and Usage

For most field crops, the general application rate is:

• Dosage: 1.5 ml to 2.0 ml per liter of water (approximately 300 ml per acre).

• Method: Foliar spray is recommended. Use a clean sprayer and ensure uniform coverage of the foliage.

• Timing: Apply at the first sign of pest infestation or at the Economic Threshold Level (ETL).

Lambda Cyhalothrin is highly toxic to bees and aquatic organisms (fish), so avoid spraying near water bodies or during active bee foraging.
