• Systemic Action: It is absorbed through the leaves and stems of the weeds. Once inside, it travels to the growing points (meristems).

• Enzyme Inhibition: It inhibits the enzyme ACCase (acetyl-coenzyme A carboxylase), which is vital for fatty acid synthesis. This stops cell division and growth.

• Fast Results: Active growth of susceptible grasses typically stops within 48 hours, with visible yellowing and death occurring in 721 days.
